Melkeya McDuffie

Melkeya comes to Bright Horizons with more than 25 years of HR leadership across the healthcare, environmental service and non-profit sectors. She has long been committed to driving equity, innovation and a people-first culture and will bring that focus to Bright Horizons.  Melkeya most recently served as EVP and Chief People Officer for Clean Harbors based in Norwell, Massachusetts, making the regular commute from her home in Houston to Dedham, MA, which she will continue as part of the Bright Horizons family.  Prior to her work at Clean Harbors, Melkeya held HR leadership roles with Waste Management, Quest Diagnostics and the Wallace Foundation, a philanthropy that supports initiatives in areas that include education, arts, social and emotional learning, and school leadership.
