Bright Horizons Employees Nationwide Participate in 4th Annual Serve from the HEART Week to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Commitment to Service
February 5, 2025 – Bright Horizons employees nationwide recently participated in the company’s 4th annual Serve from the HEART week of service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, legacy, and commitment to service.
Bright Horizons’ BRIDGE (Black Resources for Inclusion Diversity Growth and Equity) Employee Resource Group in partnership with the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children encouraged employees to get involved in their communities by assembling comfort kits for local organizations that serve children in crisis and/or volunteering at their local non-profits.
At the Bright Horizons home office in Newton, MA, employees made comfort kits and blankets for a local children’s bereavement camp and wrote notes of comfort and encouragement to employees who have been impacted by the recent southern California wildfires.
The staff and children at St. Mary Hospital Child Development Center in Langhorne, PA hosted a clothing drive for a local organization. The children decorated “You are Brave” affirmation notes to be placed in the pockets of the clothing collected. While staff from Clever Kids Learning Center in Lakewood, CO volunteered to cook and serve meals at their local Ronald McDonald House.
