I found myself in the higher education field as I found I had a desire to support students in achieving their academic and personal aspirations. My career path to Higher Education began as an Admissions Recruiter at Rutgers University, where I discovered the transformative power of education, coaching, and mentorship.

Over the years, I have held various roles that shaped my holistic approach to student success. At Valencia Community College, I served as a Student Services Advisor, providing guidance to students in navigating their academic paths. My role as an Academic Success Coach at Florida Polytechnic University allowed me to implement strategies that helped students overcome obstacles and thrive in their studies. As the first Success Coach at the University of South Florida’s College of Engineering and Computer Science, I focused on building self-confidence and equipping students with essential college and life skills to apply the confidence necessary to master rigorous courses in Engineering. Most recently, at the University of Central Florida, I served as the first Academic Advocate, where I tailored support to meet diverse student needs to help them maximize their potential.
