Emmanuel (Manny) has worked in higher education for over 13 years in for-profit and public state universities. He has worked on the front lines as a student success coach, academic advisor, and on the back end within academic affairs. While at DeVry University & Keller Graduate School of Management, Manny had the opportunity to advise undergraduate and graduate students and assisted them with determining best routes for career enhancement academically, while tracking on-time progression to graduation. During his tenure at the University of South Florida, Manny worked with unlicensed students seeking their Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
Manny joined the Bright Horizons EdAssist Solutions Coaching Team in July of 2017 with a brief departure in September of 2019. From September 2019 to February 2021 Manny served as the Assistant Director of Admissions for the USF College of Nursing. Manny oversaw all of the undergraduate nursing pathways in regards to admissions. He also assisted in the development, implementation, and launch of a Freshmen Nursing Pathway.
Manny holds a Bachelor’s in Technical Management with a concentration in Hospitality Management from DeVry University, a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Master of Arts in Global Sustainability with a specialization in Sustainable Tourism from the University of South Florida. He also recently accomplished a Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
