In January 2009, The Consulting Practice at Bright Horizons' launched a study to measure the effect of employer-sponsored child care on working parents in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The group heard from more than 350 parents who utilized an employer-sponsored nursery at 33 organizations throughout England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. The analysis of this data provides a comprehensive examination of the value of employer-sponsored child care to the workforce and the potential repercussions on organizations that do not provide this work/life support.
