At Bright Horizons, we think we've got a pretty special workplace. And we love it when other people notice it, too. So we're ecstatic that FORTUNE Magazine just named us to its 2016 list of Best Workplaces for Women.
The 100 companies on the list (including many Bright Horizons clients) were chosen based on what employees had to say about communications with management, training and development opportunities, and support for work/life balance.
The ranking also took into account how well-represented women are both within the workforce and in management and executive positions. Exactly how well represented are we? A full 90% of our Bright Horizons employees are women, including our COO and CFO.
Thanks, FORTUNE, for the shout out. And an extra "woo hoo!" to all of our clients on the Best Workplaces for Women list. And an extra-large helping of gratitude to all the employees -- men and women -- who make Bright Horizons a great place to work every day.
