Bright Futures Scholarship
September 25, 2018 – Bright Horizons awarded an all-time high of 29 Bright Futures Scholarships to students pursuing degrees in early childhood education.  The Bright Futures Scholarship program offers scholarships to promising future teachers and directors to encourage them to continue pursuing their dreams of caring for, teaching, and mentoring young children.  The Bright Futures Scholarship program is separate and distinct from the free college tuition program offered to Bright Horizons employees.

For 17 years, Bright Horizons has supported students and future teachers in the field of early childhood education through the Bright Futures Scholarship program.  The financial award is given to eligible students who qualify in an effort to support their career goals and commitment to early childhood teaching.

The criteria for selection includes proof of academic excellence, writing samples to demonstrate career goals, a commitment to early childhood teaching, and strong endorsements from references.  High school, two- and four-year college, and graduate students enrolled in accredited colleges or universities in the United States are eligible.  In 2017, 19 Bright Futures Scholarships were awarded to support continuing education in the field.
