When pursuing my Master’s degree, I completed my internship in the university’s student counseling office. That experience made me realize how much I enjoyed working with students. Upon graduation, I began working in higher education.

In previous roles, I focused a great deal on assisting students with overcoming obstacles to completing their education. I think this translates well into coaching at EdAssist as we’re often working with learners who have experienced (or are currently experiencing) similar obstacles. I like to take a focused approach to working through barriers to education and help learners have a clear path forward to accomplishing their goals.

Take your time so you don’t become overwhelmed. Pursuing a degree as an adult learner while balancing other obligations (work, family, etc.) can be a challenge. Let’s think about how best to set yourself up for success from the start.
