Hiring Manager ScribeAmerica
I have worked within the healthcare industry in many capacities over the years. Prior to joining EdAssist, I worked for ScribeAmerica and HealthChannels.

I first worked as an emergency department scribe, then as a hiring associate for Virginia, hiring and training scribes, and finally as the as the hiring manager of the South and Mid-Atlantic regions. The vast majority of scribes were looking to use their experience to assist them in their long-term career goals of becoming a RN, NP, PA, MD, or DO. It was in working with these scribes that I found my passion for healthcare advising and helping adult learners reach their professional goals.

When deciding to make this career leap, I wanted to work for a company that aligned with my goals and values. Always striving to do my best in whatever I undertake, I was thrilled to see the Bright Horizons HEART principles (Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork) as a clear focus. Knowing these principles were a significant aspect of my decision to join EdAssist, it made it even more special when I had the honor to win the Bright Horizons Awards of Excellence HEART Award in 2023.

I have always led conversations with empathy and a genuine desire to help others, and I love being able to do that in a greater capacity while working with adult learners at EdAssist. Knowing I have a unique take on changing careers myself, I use this to help inspire and motivate others.
