When you're in child care (like we are), you get pretty excited about big milestones...like children turning the big zero-one.

And last week, Bright Horizons celebrated a big milestone of our own: the big one-zero-zero-zero.

The big news: with the addition of more than 100 centers to our family since September - including the acquisition of Asquith Day Nurseries & Pre-Schools in the U.K. - Bright Horizons reached a milestone; we've got more than 1000 centers around the world.

"This is a huge milestone for us as an organization," said our CEO Dave Lissy, who welcomed Asquith as a "perfect match" for our Bright Horizons family. "When I joined Bright Horizons nearly 20 years ago, I'm not sure I could ever have imagined the depth and breadth of the impact we'd be making around the world today."

Taking Care of Families Around the World

We're pretty excited about reaching hundreds of thousands of families. But for us, the moment is about more than reach. No matter where they are in the world - India, Scotland, the Netherlands - people have the same hopes; to take care of their families and to see their children get the best beginnings. This means we get to be there for people globally who need us.

It also means that every day, we get to celebrate big moments around the world - first smiles in Bangalore; first words in London; first steps in Skokie, Illinois. We love that.

Families everywhere need child care. And we're honored to provide it.
