Forgive us for being a little excited today.
We just found out we've landed at the top of the Boston Globe's list of "Top Places to Work" in the Largest Company segment. And, just as exciting, this is the fourth time in the past six years that we've ranked #1.
This is a pretty big deal around here. By helping our clients provide things like child care and elder care for their employees, we've built our entire organization on the firm belief in the value of family friendliness and positive workplaces. The designation from the Boston Globe says we practice what we preach. "As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we are especially honored to be recognized by the Globe as a top place to work," says Bright Horizons CEO Dave Lissy. "We are incredibly proud of our dedicated employees who are committed to making a difference in the lives of the families that we serve and we are humbled to be given this honor."
Thank you Boston Globe. And congratulations to all of our clients and friends who were also named to the list. We know we have a pretty great place to work. But it's always nice to hear someone else say it, too. Let's just say it's just the icing on our 30th birthday cake. Congratulations all. And to all of our colleagues who make Bright Horizons such a great place to work! Thank you!!

Committed to Culture for 30 Years
The Boston Globe survey talked to more than 70,000 employees from hundreds of companies in the Boston area, asking about their employer's direction, execution, and management. They got opinions on benefits, responsiveness, and pay. Not incidentally, they also considered something we consider a priority in these parts -- a little fun. "Our winning companies know that creating a motivating and supportive environment is key to finding and keeping talent," said the Boston's Globe's Business Editor Larry Edelman. Indeed we do.Thank you Boston Globe. And congratulations to all of our clients and friends who were also named to the list. We know we have a pretty great place to work.
