This activity promotes development and learning by encouraging children to develop positive relationships with adults, as well as listen to, understand, and respond to communication from others.
Materials Needed:
- Small to medium size box with all the sides taped closed (such as a tissue box)
- Construction or decorative paper
- Plain paper
- Scissors
- Glue
Participants: This activity is intended for independent play or adult/child interaction, and 2 or more participants/players (requires at least one reader).
Directions:
- Cover small or medium size box with construction or decorative paper.
- Write questions and statements on plain paper, cut, and glue to the box.

- 3 words that best describe me are …
- I am special or unique because…
- I am grateful for…
- 3 things I love about me are …
- Each player rolls the dice and answers the statement on which it lands. If the player has already answered the statement, they can roll again.
- Take turns with each player rolling the dice until everyone has a change to answer all the questions.
