Participants: This activity is intended for adult/child interaction.
Directions:
- Spread a blanket on the grass outside. Lay down with your child and look at the clouds.
- Point out clouds that are moving or clouds that are shaped like animals.
- Ask your child what she sees in the clouds.
Extension: Even very simple, short outdoor experiences are calming for both adults and children. Older children might want to learn more about the clouds, such as the names of various types of clouds or how they form.
