Yes! Bright Horizons at Newburyport is open year-round. We offer a fun, age appropriate summer program that includes indoor and outdoor activities, themed weeks, virtual field trips, and more.
Physical health and development are as critical to a child's learning ability as any other area of development. Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers all have designated playgrounds that they access each day. Growing up healthy also requires safe and age appropriate opportunities for physical activity in an environment that builds good habits and positive attitudes.
We know mornings sometimes to not go as we plan. Mornings can be challenging and getting out of the house is sometimes a huge achievement. We offer a light breakfast from 7 a.m.. to 8 a.m.. for our Toddler and Preschool programs. We offer items such as cereal, waffles, or pancakes or similar items.
The preschool program at Bright Horizons at Newburyport is designed for children ages 2.9 to 5 years old. Around age 4, children may move to our Kindergarten Prep classroom classroom.
Your child's day is filled with big moments and we don't you to miss even one. Download the My Bright Day App for personalized and regular updates on your child's activity, as well as convenient access to everything you need to manage your Bright Horizons experience.

This depends on your child’s age, temperament, and level of maturity. General tips for preparing for the first day of child care include:
- Developing a relationship with your child’s teacher and keeping communication open
- Labeling all items
- Making sure your child has the essentials: bottles, extra clothes, diapers, blanket, and more
- Talking about the first day with your child
- Setting expectations for the new morning routine
- Getting ahead of separation anxiety by creating a “goodbye” routine together
Please submit an inquiry to your center(s) of interest with a request for tuition information. We recommend scheduling a visit at the same time (this can be done on the same form).
